August General Members Meeting: Improving Diverse Talent Retention Through Corporate and Law Firm Partnerships

Organizations hire diverse candidates but a persistent issue for legal employers is the retention and advancement of attorneys of color. Retention is challenging under “normal” circumstances and more so in Minnesota as we have faced unique challenges in addressing racial equity issues, social uprisings, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Using our theme of “Building an Equitable New Normal”, the focus of the program is on how firms and companies can work together to develop a better diversity business strategy  to retain and advance talent. Panelists will share best practices for how they are working with in-house and outside counsel to develop and refine better business strategies to retain attorneys of diverse backgrounds.
