Building Diverse Teams: How to Deliver Effective Informal Feedback

Join us for Part 1 of our three-part series on effective feedback with Dr. Arin Reeves! Informal feedback processes in law firms and corporate legal departments aren't always effective in providing people the information they need to develop, grow, and thrive. This ineffectiveness, due to implicit biases and other behavior patterns, can create both unwanted attrition and inefficient retention. Awareness of how feedback works and simple strategies to break these biases can result in higher retention rates and stronger relationships between feedback providers and feedback receivers.

Learning Objectives:

  • Increased understanding of informal feedback.
  • Increased understanding of the impact of implicit bias on informal feedback processes.
  • Toolbox of effective strategies for providing informal feedback.
  • Increased ability to provide effective informal feedback.
  • Increased ability to eliminate bias from the informal feedback process and create a more effective and timely feedback system for all involved.

Part 2 will be held on January 18 from 1:00 - 2:30 PM
Part 3 will be held on February 7 from 12:30 - 2:00 PM

This program is open to attorneys and legal professionals at TCDIP Member Organizations. TCDIP will apply for elimination of bias credit in Minnesota. Register for Part 1 or all three parts of this series below!
