Making an Impact: Strategic Planning to Achieve Your Organization's DE&I Goals

Tuesday, April 30, 8:30 - 11:00 AM
Stinson LLP
Hybrid via Zoom

Every organization, committee, and team needs a strategic plan to intentionally move the needle. Strategic planning is a valuable tool to define your goals and create a road map to achieve those goals.

Join TCDIP and Kathy Graves for an interactive workshop about how your organization can develop an effective strategic plan that incorporates diversity, equity, and inclusion at every step of the process. Attendees will learn the value, principles, and components of strategic planning and how diversity, equity, and inclusion goals can be woven into the planning process.

This interactive workshop will include scenario planning, interactive time for questions, and small group breakouts to practice goal setting and problem solving around issues common to law firms and corporate legal departments.

Participants will learn:

  • The terminology, processes, and components of effective strategic planning
  • Facilitation skills to bring stakeholders into agreement about priorities
  • Common challenges and related solutions for developing a strategic plan
  • Ways to infuse and weave DE&I goals into a strategic plan
  • Tools to measure progress on a plan
